Winter Villa Breaks In Lanzarote

Author: The cold spell in the UK that is currently dominating the news is probably also focusing people’s minds on their next holiday abroad. And little wonder, as the combination of snow, central heating and being stuck indoors invariably lead to thoughts of sunshine.
While many will only be thinking about a holiday in the summer months, the cold may well encourage some to think of a trip abroad straight away. But with most of the rest of Europe also under snow and freezing cold, the only viable destination is the Canary Islands.
Lanzarote is the eastern most of the seven islands that make up the archipelago and along with Tenerife and Gran Canaria, enjoys balmy weather all year round. It has long been a winter sun destination for that reason and is a favourite with many thanks to its dry, warm climate.
And as you’d expect for a destination that has been catering to tourists for over forty years, it has a great variety of holiday accommodation to offer visitors. But perhaps the best experience comes from staying in one of the many luxurious villas in Lanzarote that are available for rent.

And tend to be newer properties, as the town has expanded enormously over the last ten years, with this style of property leading the way.
