Epson SX405 Overview

Author: The newest addition to Epson multifunction range is the Stylus SX405 which promises to be a compact solution to your printing scanning and photo coping requirements. When removed from its box you notice that it delivers of it promise of being compact measuring just 13 x 230 x 394mm (LxWxH). The unit is surprisingly light weight too, which usually leading us to believe that its is made from cheap materials but it’s built quality is surprisingly good. Epson also claim that the SX405 is affordable, and with a purchase price of under £60 from completive retailers it certainly seems that way, but when it comes to inkjet printer the purchase price is only half the story, the cost of the replacement printer ink cartridges are just as important as the printer’s price tag. Epson SX405 ink cartridges consists of four separate colour ink cartridges black, cyan, magenta and yellow, this is good because it means when one colour runs out the other colour ink stays and only the colour cartridge which is empty gets replaced with new. A set of genuine Epson ink cartridges for the SX405 will set you back £30 but there are compatible available for under £15 a set and the availability of affordable cartridges like this make the SX405 a very cost effective device to run.
